Laugh of the day

Tabetha says:
“Spoke with my attorney today and he said that he is waiting to speak to someone with WordPress about shutting down Lepps blog. Until further notice no one from Phoenix is to post on her blog. Only report it.”

Translated: “Oh shit, my authors are learning too much about me from Lepplady. I have to keep them away from her!”

It’s only Wednesday, but I’m going to have a little Throwback Thursday early.
Some of you might not have been around for this discussion about her Lawyer last year, so I’ll bump it up for you.
Red or pickled?

  1. Another possible translation is: “Ah reported Leppy to WordPress, but dey ain’t payin’ me no nevermind, so ah needz mah frienz to report her, too, ’cause mebbe den dey’ll stop ignorin’ me.

  2. If her lawyer is shutting the thing down why does she need for her authors to report it? Getting them to do her dirty work for her as usual. That idiot cow doesn’t have a lawyer. They cost money and she doesn’t like to pay.

  3. Well, I can say this much. if she intended for her authors not to see what gets said here, it failed. The whole gang is still stopping by in droves.
Oh, that’s right. They’re just cruising by to report me. That must be it.

I guess I’d better hurry up and post my next blog while I can.

  4. Why would WP close down your blog?
All you’ve been doing here is blogging – so for what transgression is tabby trying to get you thrown off?

      • I’m quite sure she is almost finished – Phoenix fire is a rip off and everybody knows it. She should close that nonsense down, return the money she stole and get herself a little office job and lead an honest life for a change!

      • I think you’re one for three. She’ll probably close it down.
And then reopen under under some other name and start all over again. Wouldn’t be the first time.

I don’t see her paying what she owes to this new wave of authors any more than she did the Mystic bunch. And that last bit about making an honest living? Well. Yeah. No.

  5. Having fun guessing who I am yet Tabby cat? Its fun watching you get it wrong over and over so keep guessing your never going to know until its to late. HAHAHA!!! Watch out for that karma train because its coming for you the whole world knows about you know. I waited along time for this you screwed the wrong bitch over and now its your turn.

  6. If Tabetha Jones threatens you or anybody you know with legal action, call her bluff. Offer to speak to her lawyer yourself and ask for contact information. If she’s actually got a lawyer, she’ll give it over gladly. That’s what lawyers are for, right? To speak on behalf of their clients? I mean, why pay so much to hire one and not let them speak for you? Doesn’t make much sense, does it?

And consider this: The instant she sets foot in the courtroom, she opens herself up to testimony from every other person she’s ever ripped off, including some people I speak to every day. Including my daughter.
Anybody here think she’d put herself in that position? Me neither.

And if she tries to play that “But we’re family” guilt card on you, ask yourself this: Would family screw you over the way she’s done to her authors?

Don’t let her guilt you or intimidate you into backing down from your human, moral and legal rights, folks. This is your career, your reputation, your future on the line. Stand up for it.

    • Can tabby do anything else than steal from ppl? Has she got any skills or qualifications? What is her degree from college/Uni? I’m sure she wrote something about that a while ago?

  7. And, for the record, here it is a year later still (2015) and I still haven’t heard a whisper from her lawyer about a website. And her authors are still being told to avoid this blog. They’re different authors, though. Most of the ones that were signed with her at the time have come to their senses and gotten as far away from her as possible. Any remaining from that time, I suspect, are her own alts.

  8. Update:

As of June, 2016, Tabetha Jones has no publishing companies in operation that we know about, so our investigation of her has been halted. The point of examining her in the first place was to advocate for authors that reported no royalties and other related abuse from her. If she’s not involved with publishing anymore, that job’s done.

The posts about her remain in public view in case she starts a new one in the future.

If more publishing concerns about Tabetha Jones (Willis, Farmer Hoover, Saulters, etc) – AKA Zooey Sweete, Emerald Rai Fleurs, et al – arise in the future, we will post relevant updates. But for now, we’re focusing on happier topics.
