On the air

I’m going to go ahead and make this into a blog. It was brought up in comments and I thought it deserved some air time of its own.

Somebody sent me the link to Jamie’s radio show yesterday, telling me they were on there talking about me, so out of sheer morbid curiosity, I tuned in. They were cackling like hens over the quip that “If there’s no body, it’s not murder.” and “That’s what the gators were for.” They talked about using a body as “Gator bait.” and I turned it off.
Never mind how juvenile they sounded. But talk about the HEIGHT of unprofessionalism. A so-called “publisher” goes on the air to presumably talk about their “work” and all they can do is poke fun at me with very thinly veiled threats? Any author that still hasn’t come to their senses and left that sham “company” should be totally and completely embarrassed to be represented in public that way. The two minutes I did hear were a joke, and not the kind they intended. They didn’t come off as a publishing company at all. They sounded like juvenile delinquents ditching class in the bathroom at Junior High.
But I guess that’s no surprise. Tabetha wouldn’t know how to be professional if it bit her on the ass.
Not the publishing profession, anyway.

  1. She posted a picture about her daughter inbetween two smutty bitchy one’s.

What kind of mother posts about her little girl with picture’s like that?

    • I can only speak for myself, but I know that I wouldn’t embarrass a young child by posting such crude content side by side with anything even remotely associated with them. Then again, I wouldn’t post the trash she associates herself with in the first place. I guess trash, smut and filth are what she relates to. If she thinks so poorly of herself and the the world in general, that’s pathetic as hell, but hey. It’s her choice. To each their own.

  2. Your just pissed off cuz BOSS LADY goes on the radio with real author’s talking about real book’s what book’s did you write CUNT you act so ssouperior but your nothing but a nosey stalking BITCH. BOSS LADY is a classy butch and knows what she’s doing that’s why nobody needs a contract because she knows how to run a PUBLISHING COMPANY where’s your publishing company cunt oh that’s right you don’t have one so all you can do is stalk a real BOSS who has her shit together your a strolling CUNT be careful BITCH before somebody drops a house on you and watch out for those gators they creep at night HA HA.

    • Dear “Get over it BITCH”: I am a real author, and I fear a real publisher would not need your kind of defence. Indeed, any publisher that deserved respect would be worse than embarrassed to be associated with such a posting.

      • “Get over it BITCH” – forgive me, I didn’t realise that (given your reference to contracts) your posting might be addressed to me rather than to Lepp. Let me put very simply. Every legitimate publisher – every single one – issues contracts, and the details are agreed between publisher and author. No author with any sense should ever work with a publisher without a contract.

Please do grace this with a reply.

      • Phoenix only issues contracts to those misguided, misled and gullible enough to fall for her load of whitewash. Those are the ones that get ripped off the worst because they think they’re signed with a legit company. What they don’t know is that they’re setting themselves up to get ripped off on an ongoing basis by somebody with a history of falsifying sales reports so she can pocket those royalties.

What I think they’re talking about is Phoenix Rising, yet another illegal aspect of that illegal company, which sells “freelance” services to authors that want to self-publish, like editing (by one of their other authors, for free, not a professional editor), promotion (which consists of a blog tour – all owned by PF’s multiple personalities, so they’re free too) and so forth. Phoenix Rising has no contracts. A writer pays and gets what they get.
PR is a ripoff pure and simple. There’s nothing an author pays for that costs Tabetha a penny. She pockets that. Except for the swag. She buys bulk craft items on Ebay and overcharges for it. So she pays for the crafting materials, but comes out ahead in the end.
Then, if a Phoenix Rising author wants out, the company “loses” the formatted copies of their book due to “computer problems.” So, even though that service has been paid for, to the tune of hundreds of dollars, oops. Sorry. It’s gone. See ya.

Contract or no, an author only gets screwed by Tabetha Jones or any aspect of her bogus, illegal sham of a company.

      • Unless the publisher in question is just as bad if not worse. You’re talking about somebody who doesn’t know how to be embarrassed, nor deserving of respect. One has to respect themselves first, and that one doesn’t.

  3. I’m told that Tabetha’s got a new scam going. From what I hear, she’s talking about putting auctions together on ebay to raise money to put into a fund to send her authors victims to conventions across the country to plug Phoenix Fire books.
Anybody here believe that if she raises money, it goes anywhere but in her pocket?

    • You think you know everything but you don’t know evrything BITCH. Now fuck off before somebody drops a house on you and your flying monkeys HA HA!!!

  4. Give that Jaimie “published” two books with PublishAmerica, and seems to think that’s a big deal instead of a scam, it’s not surprising that she’d fall for Tabby’s crap and try to be her best friend. The poor woman is obviously severely deficient in common sense.

    • Is that the “publisher” that treated Jamie so badly that she fell for Tabetha’s “Come join us. We’ll treat you like FAMILY” load of crap? Talk about jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.

  5. Update:

As of June, 2016, Tabetha Jones has no publishing companies in operation that we know about, so our investigation of her has been halted. The point of examining her in the first place was to advocate for authors that reported no royalties and other related abuse from her. If she’s not involved with publishing anymore, that job’s done.

The posts about her remain in public view in case she starts a new one in the future.

If more publishing concerns about Tabetha Jones (Willis, Farmer Hoover, Saulters, etc) – AKA Zooey Sweete, Emerald Rai Fleurs, et al – arise in the future, we will post relevant updates. But for now, we’re focusing on happier topics.

    Peace.
