The mad scramble

A couple of things to note today.
First, Tabetha has taken LLC off of the name of her company, finally proving what we’ve been saying ever since she started claiming that it was one: PHOENIX FIRE IS NOT AN LLC. And she admits it.
There you have it, ladies and gents. Proof once and for all that it was a lie the whole time.

A couple more lies that are barely a day old:
She’s talking about Katrina’s Wolf Lake series as if Katrina’s still with the company, making things look buddy-buddy as ever.
And it simply isn’t t rue.

In that same statement above, she also brags about working with Christian Petrovich on an upcoming project, but that’s not true either. I asked him.
Note the date and time.

It looks like Tabetha’s doing what she always does when her lies catch up with her: She’s puffing up her company with lots of names, real and imagined, whether they’re still working with her or (more likely) not, to make it look like she’s successful and fabulous. But all evidence points to the contrary. It looks like she’s doing a mad scramble, trying to deny the truth, no matter how fast it’s nipping at her heels and keep living in the fantasy world she tries to create for herself. Then again, the truth and Tabetha Jones rarely go together.

Just a reminder, folks. If Tabetha Jones says it, it’s probably a lie.

    • The lyrics:

You think you’ve got it all set up
You think you’ve got the perfect plan
      To charm everyone you see
And playing any game you can

But I’ve got news for you
I hope it don’t hit you too hard
One of these days while you’re at play
I’m gonna catch you off guard

You make our lives a stress and strain
      Using the power ploy
All you do is pass around
Hearts you use as play toys

      You’ve been playing madly
      With every mind in town
So what you gonna do when you look up one day
And see your playhouse tumbling down

I’m gonna tear your playhouse down pretty soon
I’m gonna tear your playhouse down room by room

      • I absolutely love it! I hope this song plays in Tabetha’s mind when she is all alone (soon)

      • The 80s called. They want their mullets back. Was that a vintage T-bird in the intro? Anyway, the lyrics are perfect for ol’ Tabby Scat.

      • i was with Phoenix for 4 months but was never put on the Blogspot page. i was only added to the Weebly one after being with her for two months… Shows how “on top” if things she is.

      • You can say that again. A “publisher” who can’t keep her websites and blogs up to date, or even keep track of them all, but spends hours on her own social media updates has no business trying to run a … business. Especially not when she can’t be bothered setting up a separate business account for her “business related” finances. She should probably have two business accounts — one at a bank for sure, and one on PayPal, since that’s the way she likes to get paid.

      • A real business person would. A scam just looks for a way to hide the money. But in this digital day and age, there’s always a digital paper trail to follow. And the IRS loves to ferret out a fraud.

  1. Update:

As of June, 2016, Tabetha Jones has no publishing companies in operation that we know about, so our investigation of her has been halted. The point of examining her in the first place was to advocate for authors that reported no royalties and other related abuse from her. If she’s not involved with publishing anymore, that job’s done.

The posts about her remain in public view in case she starts a new one in the future.

If more publishing concerns about Tabetha Jones (Willis, Farmer Hoover, Saulters, etc) – AKA Zooey Sweete, Emerald Rai Fleurs, et al – arise in the future, we will post relevant updates. But for now, we’re focusing on happier topics.
