Call to Action

If you ever provided content to an anthology for publication by Tabetha Jones through any of her various, assorted companies, past and present, Createspace would like to hear from you.

What they want to know is
-who you are – your real name and any pen names you might use
-The title of any content you contributed. That’s important.
-A description of the work: Poem or story? Genre. Length. Keywords. Even the names of the major character(s) would help. Etc.
-When you gave it to her.
-The name of the book it appeared in.
-They also want to know when you left her.

Even if you don’t think that anything you gave her was ever published, they want to hear from you anyway, in case your content was snuck into any of her publications without your knowledge or consent.

Please prepare the information above and send it to Createspace’s legal team. You can mail hard copy, send an email, or a fax. If you like, you can pick up the phone and give them a shout. They can take your information over the phone.

  1. This smells a little different that you asking people to contact Amazon before. Is something going on that we should know about?

    • Yes. This is different. I’m not just HOPING to get an investigation going. There’s one underway. Her anthologies are being investigated for fraud, for copyrighted material being used after the author has left the company, without the author’s knowledge or consent. Perhaps without the author’s name. They’re looking to see if any content is reproduced with different authors cited, and if any content has been shifted from one book to another.

That’s why it’s important for all of you to contact them ASAFP. Let them know which work is yours so they can identify if it was used after you left the company under another name, without your consent.

So help ’em out with as many details as you can provide.

It’s entirely possible that she will be permanently banned from using Amazon and Ingram. Forever.

And if it is discovered that she has committed copyright fraud or grand theft (by keeping money she had no legal right to earn in the first place), they might just turn her over to the feds to face charges for both.

      It’s happening, folks. Right now.

  2. FYI, those anthologies that she claimed “SHE” pulled last year due to authors leaving and so called formatting issues, not true. They were puled for this very issue.. I wrote them concerning my titles, works and name being used even AFTER I left, that ladies and gentlemen is the reason those titles were pulled.

Amazon has the original anthologies. They are comparing the original anthologies content, title, and authors name associated with EACH AND EVERY anthology. They are doing what needs to be done to stop her fraud. Ladies and gentlemen the rest is up to you. Contact them, give them the name of your works, description if necessary and stop this scam publisher in her tracks.

We as authors have the power, we as the authors hold all the cards. Now it’s time to deal those aces and eights, the dead man’s hand to the one who desperately deserves it. I am doing my part, as is JT, take back your power.

  3. I don’t care what holiday you celebrate. If it’s Christmas I wish you a Merry Christmas, if it’s Kwanzaa I wish you a Happy Kwanzaa, if it’s Feliz Navidad enjoy your day, if it’s Chanukah have a great 8 days. Any I missed forgive my ignorance.

My point is have a great time with family, friends and good memories.

  4. Update:

As of June, 2016, Tabetha Jones has no publishing companies in operation that we know about, so our investigation of her has been halted. The point of examining her in the first place was to advocate for authors that reported no royalties and other related abuse from her. If she’s not involved with publishing anymore, that job’s done.

The posts about her remain in public view in case she starts a new one in the future.

If more publishing concerns about Tabetha Jones (Willis, Farmer Hoover, Saulters, etc) – AKA Zooey Sweete, Emerald Rai Fleurs, et al – arise in the future, we will post relevant updates. But for now, we’re focusing on happier topics.
