Questions?

I plan on going back through the archives of this fine blog and searching for questions that never got a proper answer. There are many, scattered throughout the  pages, and the years, so it might take some time.

If you’ve got a question that stands out to you as one you’d really like to see answered, leave it in the comments and I’ll make sure it gets included.

A couple that stand out for me are:
What happened to the money earned by the book that was supposed to benefit victims of domestic violence?
Why was the answer no when Cindy asked about putting a book together to benefit victims of cancer?
What’s up with that picture of Trent from La Bare? You know, the one she said she took with her own camera at another club. And then, when busted with proof that it was Trent at La Bare, the best she could offer was that she gave it to him because sometimes the dancers want pictures of themselves. But that doesn’t answer the question of how it supposedly was a dancer at another club, when it was, in fact, Trent at La Bare.
Has the original author of the Draven With series ever gotten paid a single dime?
And, while we’re at it, why did none of the Mystic Press authors get paid? Not a single one of them?

Those are just off the top of my head.

Leave your questions, as many as you like, and lets see if we get any answers this time.

  1. One more question: Why does she lie about Darlene being her birth mother? Who is Denise Burnett and what did she ever do to her to deserve the eternal damnation of being called her birth mother?

    • Why does she not seek help?
Why did she not send past swag in TDR1s release until I left? But instead of sending to winners. She sends them to me after saying i stole them? Especially when they messaged her their addresses?
      Thats one whole question. FYI.
Was what Tabetha promised to me the truth?
Why did Tabetha speak rumours about me to another companies authors whilst I still worked with her?
And lastly, what was so important that she couldnt pay her authors to help them follow their dreams?
If you cant afford to run a publishing house which means paying authors and workers then dont do it.

      • Good questions, all.

There have been a lot of questions about Swag, such as: Why is it that her friends predominantly won those contests? Were they rigged?

And why does she lie about Sky wicker being a real person?
Why did she isnsist that Bo was a real person?

What’s wrong with her that she makes up fake people like that? And does she really expect people to believe her?

And I have a question for James. Why doesn’t he fight for his kid? She’s obviously in an unhealthy environment, with (at least) one adult that’s got substance abuse problems, and a strange man that’s got a violent criminal history of assault, and who is legally, criminally insane. WTF is wrong with James, allowing his daughter to be raised in such an environment? Does he really care so little? Is she not worth fighting for?

I feel for that kid. I really do.

  2. Why is she so pathetic as to try and steal authors, and the rest lives? Why is she so heartless as to bathe in their pain and suffering? Why did she lie about CR destroyed her life at that time, just to get a few hundred bucks? Was destroying a family worth those measly pennies?

What are her actual beliefs, seeing as she incorporates so many? And really knows jack shit about any she professes to follow. Why is she imposing her insanity on an innocent? Why doesn’t she confess her lies?

Still waiting for that proof of cherished journals, and her links to any MC, especially the 2 she has mentioned and has claimed protection from. Also there is that tricky little bit of me asking her about definitive proof of being protected by or legacy of said MC’s. And all I’ve heard were crickets.

I personally want to see real proof of royalties on all works I was in either by anthology or my own writings. I would like the REAL name of the womens shelter that the one anthologies royalties were being donated to. Since as per Tabetha that anthology was selling like crazy.

    That’s for starters.

    • As for finding out about royalties, she’s not your “publisher” anymore. You can find that information out on your own. All you have to do is contact Amazon. They’ll give you sales reports.

There are just a few women’s shelters in her city, and none of them got a dime from her. There are more in Dallas, but a few phone calls revealed that they’ve never heard of her either.

I don’t want to pour any salt in CR’s wounds, but I really would like to tell her story in full so that people realize just how low that putrific “publisher” will go, not onlyy stealing from authors, but stopping at nothing to ruin their lives as well. But I won’t do that without CR’s approval.

But they’re good questions. I’ll include them and see if she has any answers for us.

  3. Don’t forget Bo. Was that ever resolved? Tabetha’s bad biker buddy Bo who died about the time of the Waco Bandidos/Cossacks shootout?

  4. Looking all the way back at the first posts, I found this.
Tabetha accused Mystic authors of robbing her child of a Christmas by demanding that they get paid. They never did get paid, though. So the question is, what’s up with that, Tabetha? How dare you say your kid wouldn’t get a Christmas because authors wanted to get paid?

And another: Has Tabetha Jones ever gotten authors to pay for her computer rental because if they didn’t, she’d lose all of their edited work? We all know the answer, but once the question post is up, we’ll see if she’s got the balls to answer it.

And, speaking of that computer, was she, or was she not, arrested for theft because she reported to the rental place that the computer was stolen (when she couldn’t get anybody to pay the bill for her)? Did the cops come to her house to take the theft report and find it sitting right there? Is that what she was on probation for? Yes, that’s her personal business, but since it involves the computer that deals with authors’ work, that makes it their business, too. It also speaks to the character of their defunct publisher.

  5. And here’s a question from the very first post on this blog: Did the account for Mystic Press close? Or was the name on it just changed to Phoenix Fire?

Isn’t it true that EVERY SINGLE BOOK published by MP/PF/DS/SF/SS (et al) was published not on a business account at createspace, but on Tab’s PERSONAL account? (Since there’s no such thing as a publisher’s account on createspace, but I’d like to see an explanation for that.)

Also, as far back as the first post here, WHY WON’T TAB PROVIDE HER ATTORNEY’S CONTACT DETAILS? She insists that she has one, yet refuses to disclose his information so that her authors can contact him.

And remember, these questions go all the way back to Dec 22, 2012 and we still haven’t heard answers.

  6. Another: Does Tab, or does she not, have a history of threatening authors that want answers with her tough guy boyfriends. Back in the day, she threatened authors with her ex marine boyfriend by saying he was a sniper who could take them out and they’d never see it coming. Now, she’s got a convicted violent offender (who’s criminally insane) not only living with her precous 8 year old daughter, but she’s also daring us all to look up his criminal history and warning us that he’s not to be messed with, insinuating that he’ll hurt somebody. Else.

She’s also threatened to sic her biker buddies on us, too. Direct threats, no insinuations.
She got her chain yanked on that one, though, so you won’t see her throwing those names around anymore. One time in jail for it was enough. She doesn’t dare do it again.

  7. Update:

As of June, 2016, Tabetha Jones has no publishing companies in operation that we know about, so our investigation of her has been halted. The point of examining her in the first place was to advocate for authors that reported no royalties and other related abuse from her. If she’s not involved with publishing anymore, that job’s done.

The posts about her remain in public view in case she starts a new one in the future.

If more publishing concerns about Tabetha Jones (Willis, Farmer Hoover, Saulters, etc) – AKA Zooey Sweete, Emerald Rai Fleurs, et al – arise in the future, we will post relevant updates. But for now, we’re focusing on happier topics.

    Peace.
